Children engage in taking things part to learn how things come together. Children at North Star Nursery are given the freedom to explore, create and problem solve with a range of materials. This builds on their skills of critical thinking, resilience and understanding of how things work together. It empowers children to be curious thinkers – they design, test and rethink their ideas as they learn through hands-on experience.
I can show tolerance, respect, and acceptance for others.
Children develop understanding, empathy, and positive social skills by learning to value differences, respect other’s feelings and opinions and respond to these with kindness and understanding.
